LOS ANGELES (Jive Press Release) - Jive Recording artists Three Days Grace are gearing for their first national tour of the US supporting Trapt. The tour begins on July 21 in State College, PA and runs through September (see below for full itinerary).

Hailing from Canada, this exceptional band is poised to take over the U.S. with their relentless harmonies and sharp-edged lyrics reminiscent of Tool. Their debut self-titled CD (in stores July 22) was produced by Gavin Brown, formerly of Platinum selling act Big Sugar. Standout hits include "Home" with its desolate intonations bonded with lead singer Adam Gontier's guttural shrieks. A theme of desperation and longing runs throughout Three Days Grace in songs like "Take Me Under," "Burn" and "Never Let You Down."

"I Hate Everything About You," the first single from Three Days Grace, has been receiving outstanding radio airplay on both Active and Modern Rock stations like CIMX (Detroit), WXTM (Cleveland), WXQR (Jacksonville), KXTE (Las Vegas), WHRL (Albany), KPNT (St Louis), KRBZ (Kansas City), KTBZ (Houston), WZTA (Miami) and more. This high powered, emotionally charged single is an unquestionable hit, Radio & Records raved "the lead single, 'I Hate Everything About You,' an undeniably infectious track that boasts angst-ridden atmospheres and a punchy chorus." A video for "I Hate Everything About You" was directed by Scott Winig (Prince Paul, Joy Drop featuring Tommy Lee, Everlast, Burning Brides) and is in heavy rotation on Much Music.
Three Days Grace are Adam Gontier (vocals/guitar), Brad Walst (bass) and Neil Sanderson (drums).
