Oh, yes! What entertainment! From yer old country and western-line dancing type of music to your heart rending ballads that remind you of all the times you've ever been in love. One minute you're stomping around, feeling like a woman, next minute you're reminded of how nice it is to be feeling the touch of your man. Shania bombards you with plastic hooks as tight as her trousers, songs are speedier and more concise, and deep down, these are all country songs at heart, and that's precisely the way Shania treats them.
Aside from the music, this lady's asides were long and gushing, and further warmed up the crowd with classics such as From This Moment On, You're Still The One, When, and also the ones you could sing along to, how can you forget the catchy Man! I Feel Like A Woman, Don't Be Stupid and That Don't Impress Me Much (hence the name Brad Pitt!).
Some of her best moments were the simple heart-wrenching songs Always And For Ever, When, You Still The One and Thank You Baby (her next intended single release) with her impressive set of lungs and voice.
It was hard to compare her with other female vocalists but she does have a characteristic floatiness, plus sheer talent at what she does. But to have seen such a talented, all round performer for the first time was an experience, which was sumptuous and entertaining on both the ears and the eyes.
Shania has emerged as one of the greatest country singers of all time, even "crossing over" into the Rock / Pop charts. She shows all the signs of being around for a long long time.
Shania Twain is one of the best female artists in recent years, so please come on over (pun intended), again.
