Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Webster PR/ Country Crossing Records) - In a world increasingly turning toward the secular side of the holiday season, multi-platinum artist Lee Greenwood believes America should keep 'the real reason for the season' as the centerpiece.

A committed Christian, Greenwood has been vocal about his faith. His self-written 'God Bless the USA' sold millions of records, becoming part of the enduring fabric of America and remarkably, second today only to the National Anthem as the nation's most performed patriotic song. Both in his music and his personal beliefs, Greenwood has been vocal about the importance of God in America's founding and ongoing culture.

And that includes the holiday season. Greenwood is true to this commitment on his new Christmas offering, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

The two-time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year and winner of CMA Song of the Year ('God Bless the USA' in 1985) Greenwood gives those familiar golden vocals a turn on a Christmas album destined to become a holiday favorite for generations.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas features a mix of childhood favorites ('Jingle Bells,' 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town'), with the inimitable Greenwood touch on such beloved meaningful classics as 'What Child is This,' 'Little Drummer Boy,' 'Away In A Manger/Silent Night,' He Would Be King,' and of course, the wish-filled title cut. Lee's rendition of 'Joy To The World' in medley with 'Hark The Herald Angels Sing' is nothing short of jubilant.

The album will be released on Country Crossing Records.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is the perfect musical gift for familiy and friends, as well as the perfect reminder of the "real reason for the season."
