New York (Top40 Charts/ MEI Records) - MEI recording artists Silent Fate and Soul Made Visible will hit the road this week to bring their music to the western masses on a mini-tour dubbed "Unrest in the West". The tour will hit four U.S. cities and feature local bands, who will also be vying for recording contracts with MEI in 2010. "We get a lot of demos from bands all over the world," said John Foxworthy, a MEI Records spokesperson, "but we also like to see what these bands are made of on-stage. This tour will give them a chance to perform with our bands in front of our A&R while helping our bands to expand their fan base." Following the tour Silent Fate will return to the studio to finish their next release, due in spring of 2010, and MEI is currently negotiating a second release from Soul Made Visible. Tour dates are as follows: Thu 10/15 - The Brewery - Troy, OH w/ Superkreep Fri 10/16 - Bender's Tavern - Denver, CO w/ Quick Victim, Hex Henderson & the Wicked Sat 10/17 - Club Vegas - Salt Lake City, UT w/ Still-born, Massacre at the Wake, Reveeler Sun 10/18 - Lakewood Bar & Grill - Dallas, TX w/ Souljur, At The Gallows, Hell Goat
