ATLANTA, GA. (Top40 Charts/ MastroDamus Official Website) - Hungry for rock with old school teeth and a contemporary flair! Well you're in luck! Georgia based MastroDamus serves up like a three-course meal of ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix and Guns 'n' Roses with a tasty, double side-order of AC/DC and Santana influences. The MastroDamus project is the brainchild of Lindsay Mastro, a veteran musician / vocalist playing guitar, keyboards, bass and some percussion. Lindsay plays all of the instruments except where noted on the album and performs all of the vocal tracks. After searching for band members to fill the slots, Lindsay decided to go the solo route and proceed with recording on his own in MastroDamus Studios using his 20 years musical experience and engineering skills acquired at Ga. Tech and with the aid of session drummers. Keyboardist Bonnie Mastro is the producer for the debut album and makes a guest performance appearance on the final track. The music is hard-driving guitar-oriented in primarily the classic rock style. The lyrics have a certain sarcastic wit and some of the songs are parodies on current political and personal themes. The artist also shows a tender side with a couple of love songs, a folk tune and a very powerful patriotic ballad that may bring a tear to the eye. The band's website https://www.mastrodamus.com allows visitors to demo all of the tunes in a generous time length format that is more than the standard 29.5 second clip normally posted by most bands. MastroDamus is rapidly climbing the internet popularity charts at sites like ReverbNation, a widely respected and utilized site for Independent artists. The band has a prominent presence there at https://www.reverbnation.com/mastrodamus. The primary distributor is CDBaby.com at the artist page https://www.cdbaby.com/cd/mastrodamus , where both the physical CD and mp3 digital downloads are now available. All major digital download sites are scheduled to carry the music by mid-December, 2009. MastroDamus' music is the product of varying musical styles all merged into a glorious, musical train wreck. Sit back and enjoy the ride!
