NEW YORK (Nickelback Fans Website) - Nickelback will release its new album the Long Road on September 23, a follow-up to the band's international multi-platinum selling sophomore set, Silver Side Up.

The first single from the album is "Someday," and the music video for the song was recently shot in Vancouver by director Nigel Dick. He previously worked on the band's video for "Too Bad" as well as the video for singer Chad Kroeger's hit "Hero."

The album reportedly also includes Nickelback's cover of Elton John's hit "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)" with Kid Rock, which currently appears on the Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle soundtrack.
Following the release of the Long Road, Nickelback will kick off a major U.S. tour this fall.
