NEW YORK (Luther Vandross Official Website) - Beyonce Knowles, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and Stevie Wonder are among stars who appear in Luther Vandross's new video.

The video for 'Dance With My Father' features the celebrities paying tribute to the singer, who is still in hospital in New York after suffering a stroke in April.

Beyonce, whose Dangerously In Love album features a duet with Vandross called 'The Closer I Get To You' said: "I'm a part of this project because I got the wonderful opportunity to work with Luther. "When I was in the studio with him, I fell in love. He is such a special person, I just wanted to be here for him. I've been praying for him and am so happy that he's doing well."

The video is directed by Diane Martel, who has worked with Christina Aguilera and Eve.
It also features Quincy Jones, Wyclef Jean, Babyface, Brian McKnight, Patti LaBelle, American Idol II winner Ruben Studdard and basketball star Jason Kidd.
The song is taken from Vandross's latest album, also called Dance With My Father, which debuted at No 1 in the US last month and has become his fastest-selling album.

Vandross last month began breathing on his own and slowly regaining his speech after being in a coma following the stroke on April 16.
