System of a Dodger!

LOS ANGELES (System Of A Down Official Website) - If becoming a rock star isn't enough of a dream come true, try playing baseball with your favourite major league team. That's what System Of A Down guitar player Daron Malakian will get to do next month. Malakian will hit the field at L.A.'s Dodgers Stadium for the annual Hollywood Stars exhibition baseball game on August 9th.
The celebrity game takes place before the actual Dodgers game but players and celebs traditionally hop knob at the event. A Dodgers fan from childhood, Daron says the game will be a dream come true.

Meanwhile, System Of A Down will begin rehearsals later this summer for their next album according to a statement from the band. The CD will be co-produced by Malakian and Rick Rubin.
