NEW YORK (RnB NY magazine) - Ja Rule recently said that his feud with 50 Cent is not just a scheme to generate publicity, and insisted that the two rappers really don't like each other. Ja Rule thinks that a lot of hip-hop artists, including New York's 50 Cent, falsely represent a particular lifestyle just to increase album sales. Ja mocked 50 Cent's song "In Da Club," saying, "I'm here, and I'm 'in the club popping the bud.' That's what I do." Ja Rule also discussed his recent trip to South Africa, and said he's surprised that more black music artists have not visited the country. He said, "How can you not go to the Motherland and represent where you came from?" The trip meant a lot to Ja Rule. He said, "In America we're looked upon as not being 100 percent black. For me to be able to come over here and represent for my black people, it's an [honor]." Ja Rule's latest album is called the Last Temptation.
