LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Paper Zoo, the Los Angeles four-piece band with a "psychedelic sound rooted in classic rock" continue to gain new fans and critical praise on their first national tour opening for the legendary Roger Daltrey. On the road in support of their debut EP, the tour next hits New York City November 20 at the Nokia Theatre and wraps in Clearwater, FL, November 30. The heavily melodic and tantalizingly avant garde band is made up of Allister Izenberg, William Thomas Wesley II (bass), Monte Dyaami Najera (drums) and Martin Lopez (keys). It began a relationship with Damon Fox and multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer and Custard label head Linda Perry via a chance encounter with Perry at a Guitar Center at the age of 13. The EP is a creation of rough demos recorded over the span of several visits to Linda's Kung Fu Gardens. The band has also released a new video for the self-titled track. Shot in Los Angeles in October, the video was directed by Adam Tillman-Young and can be viewed youtube.com. Learn more at myspace.com/wearepaperzoo.
