NEW YORK (Strokes Fans Website) - Details about The Strokes' eagerly awaited forthcoming album have begun to emerge. In an interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. revealed that the album would include a ballad that he described as The Strokes' "first more mellow song", as well as a track called "Mightmare" that he compared to Michael Jackson's " Billie Jean". Fans of the band are in for a treat when The Strokes begin their promotion campaign for the disc. They're booked to play on Conan O'Brien every Tuesday for a month to debut new material, and they'll play a series of low-key club dates prior to the album's release on October 21. Some of the working titles for tracks from the forthcoming album include "Meet Me In The Bathroom", "Supernova", "Raga" and "Ze Newie".
