Zaragoza, SPAIN (Top40 Charts/ LateRooms Official Website) - Any classical music fans who are booking accommodation in Zaragoza (https://www.laterooms.com/en/k15814679_zaragoza-hotels.aspx) next month may be interested to learn that the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra will be putting on a concert in the city. On Wednesday February 24th, pianist Mitsuko Uchida will take to the stage to perform works by Beethoven, Ligeti and Sibelius.

The musical maestro will be conducted by Sir Simon Rattler, in a show that promises to offer stunning renditions of classic pieces.

Gyo"rgy Ligeti's San Francisco Polyphony will be the first composition to be tackled by the duo, followed by Piano Concerto No.4 in G major from Beethoven and Jean Sibelius' Symphony No.2 in D major.

The concert will be held at that Palacio de Congresos y Auditorio de Zaragoza, with the show starting at 20:15 (local time).

Mitsuko Uchida is spending one month on a residency with the Berlin Philarmonic Orchestra. During this time, she will be performing all five of Beethoven's piano concertos at a selection of concerts around Europe.

The show in Zaragoza is the penultimate concert in this tour and her only one in Spain.
