Gorillaz Return With Plastic Beach

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Virgin Records) - Gorillaz have announced details of their long-awaited return with new album 'Plastic Beach'. The animated band will launch the record on March 8th, with lead single 'Stylo' out on January 26th. Speaking on Twitter, Gorillaz leader Murdoc Niccals said: "A leak! A leak! Plastic Beach has sprung a leak! "One of those Russian pirates has put a bullet hole in my island! My single's leaked! STYLO!'

A whole host of stars will feature on the album, including Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed, Mark E Smith and Kano.

Mos Def, De La Soul, Bobby Womack and Mick Jones are other artists lending Gorillaz a hand.

It has been five years since the band's last album, 'Demon Days' was released and ten eyars since their smash-hit debut 'Gorillaz'.
