New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Virgin Records) - Muse have announced a new single from their latest all-conquering album. 'Resistance' will be released on February 22nd and is taken from the number one album 'The Resistance'. Muse have topped the charts in more than 20 countries with the record, including the UK, Australia, Brazil, France and South Africa.

Their new single is a typically grandiloquent affair, with the message "love is our resistance, they'll keep us apart. And they won't stop breaking us down".

A stadium tour is planned for this summer, with dates at Wembley Stadium and Lancashire County Cricket Club in September currently on sale.

Muse will be rocking festivals too, headlining the likes of Rock Am Ring, Werchter and Roskilde in 2010.
