Six-time Grammy winner Dr. John is one of his hometown's "foremost voices" (Billboard). His 2008 album 'The City That Care Forgot,' winner of the 2008 Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album, is, said USA Today, "an album that demands attention." Dr. John most recently performed on the Grammy Awards telecast in 2006. Dr. John's next album, tentatively titled 'Tribal,' will be released in April by 429 Records.
