Amoeba Music has a long history of supporting local communities, as well as those hit hardest when disaster strikes. In early September 2005, Amoeba Music started AMOEBA AUCTIONS, an on-going monthly auction in Hollywood to help raise money for the Gulf Coast Relief Efforts. Every first Saturday of the month, Amoeba Hollywood hosts entertaining and interactive live auctions with items including memorabilia, collectables, promotional items, concert tickets, and much more. The February 6 auction will be hosted by guest auctioneer Lance Robertson (DJ Lance Rock from the hit television show Yo Gabba Gabba) and its proceeds will benefit the Animal Advocates Alliance [https://animaladvocatesalliance.org/].
