New York (Top40 Charts/ Jeff E Jones PR) - Local celebrities are banding together to raise funds to help survivors devastated by the recent earthquake in Haiti with a special, one-night concert event, 'Healing for Haiti,' on Saturday, Feb. 20 at Oil Can Harry's in Studio City. 'Healing for Haiti' will open with stand-up comedy by Suzanne Whang (HGTV's House Hunters, NBC's Las Vegas), who is also the evening's emcee. Music will be provided for the remainder of the show by Billboard-charting dance/rock recording artist Debby Holiday; American Idol Season 2 finalist Trenyce; singer, songwriter and vocal coach Darci Monet (CBS' How I Met Your Mother, Napoleon Dynamite), and Melissa McLaughlin (CNN's Nashville Star, MTV's Missy Elliot Project). There may also be performances by surprise guests. The event will also feature a raffle and silent auction with items donated by Jill Kirsh Color, recording artist Jace Everett (HBO's True Blood), Gina Venturini Designs, The Flying Goddess Jewelry by Marina Anderson, Darci Monet Vocal Style Studio in North Hollywood, Red Ginger Restaurant in Woodland Hills, Computer Country in Burbank, photographers Candice Colbert, Dana Patrick and Marc Cartwright, Music Connection Magazine, Psychic Eye Bookstore in Studio City, Hair by Samantha Martenson in Sherman Oaks, MandiCakes in Chicago, Erzulies Authentic VouDou in New Orleans and Kylie Delre Personal Training. More items are being added daily. All proceeds will go to benefit Doctors Without Borders.
