New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Vintage Guitar) - Guitar virtuoso Carl Verheyen (Supertramp), will return to Europe March 3 with his band, prolific bassist Dave Marotta (Colbie Caillot, Gino Vannelli, Phil Collins) and master drummer and percussionist Walfredo Reyes, Jr. (Santana, Steve Winwood, Johnny Hallyday). This is a follow-up to their very successful spring 2009 European and UK tour.

The Carl Verheyen Band's tenth album, the highly-acclaimed Trading 8s, features special guest soloists Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Steve Morse, Scott Henderson, Albert Lee and Rick Vito "trading 8s" with Verheyen. The project was released on Cranktone Entertainment, his own label.

Future plans are to tour the UK and select North American markets this autumn, and possibly Japan for the first time, in addition to Verheyen's numerous worldwide clinic and workshop appearances.
