Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ City Of Los Angeles) - The City of Los Angeles and L.A. LIVE will present a St. Patrick's Day Festival at Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE on Wednesday, March 17 from 11am to 3pm. The Festival is free and open to all ages. The 40,000 square-foot Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE will be decorated with a concert stage, antique fire trucks, classic 1950s police and fire cars, displays, beer gardens, and more. The 40-piece Dublin All Star Marching Band will make a rare appearance from Dublin. Irish rock legends Ken O'Malley and the Twilight Lords will headline the Festival's concert and will be joined by a variety of Irish entertainers, leprechauns, and the 20-piece Los Angeles Emerald Society bagpipe band. Irish actor Jack McGee will perform the National Anthem.

Classic vehicles on display include a 1948 Buick LAFD staff car, a 1948 Mack Engine, a 1947 LAPD Squad Car, a 1954 GM Rescue van, 1931 and 1984 Seagrave Engines, the 1956 Buick Special from the 1950s TV series Highway Patrol, and many others. Other Plaza displays include a preview of April's West Coast premiere of the relaunch of Indian Motorcycles, which was founded in 1901. Many of L.A. LIVE's 14 restaurants will serve special St. Patrick's Day fare.

During the stage ceremony at 12:30pm, awards will be given to the Los Angeles Police Department Captain of the Year, William Murphy, and the Los Angeles Fire Department Captain of the Year, Kenneth Cassidy. Special guests include celebrities, L.A. City Councilmembers Jan Perry, Tom LaBonge, and other City officials.
