LOS ANGELES (Geffen Records press release) - Something Corporate, whose brand new album, North, is set for a 10/21 street date on Drive-Thru/Geffen Records, will open for Good
Charlotte on a 22 date, month-long swing through the Midwest and Northeast, beginning with a
September 18th date in Madison, WI, and culminating with a show on October 19th at Albany, NY's Pepsi Arena. (A complete list of dates is attached).
The Southern California-based quintet cut their teeth on the road, touring for a solid 2 years in support of their debut album Leaving Through the Window, which sold in excess of 250,000 copies, and cemented their status as a must see rock band. Something Corporate's new album shows every mile of growth and maturity on its tracks while retaining the bright-eyed charm and electric guitar/piano give and take that made songs like "iF yoU C Jordan" and "I Woke Up In A Car" radio hits on the band's debut.
The lead single off North is the anthemic "Space," which features lead singer Andrew McMahon's crystal clear vocals and piano work set against the backdrop of Josh Partington and William Tell's aggressive guitar riffs and the steady backbeat of rhythm section drummer Brian Ireland and bassist Clutch.
