Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ PLA Media) - Joel Warren, the Austin, TX based country singer that is putting a new face on the ranching and rodeo crowd, stopped by
Texas stations in March to premiere his debut single 'Leavin' Lubbock.'
'I've had a great time out on the road at these stations,' says Joel.
'Thanks to everyone who has opened their playlist to my first single!'
This Nebraska reared rancher and steer wrestler has been turning heads on the country scene around the globe. He was recently profiled in Country Weekly magazine and his single was available on its website for two weeks as a free download for fans. Stations across the states have also been adding the traditional swaying tunes of Joel and are praising the single for a different sound on the country market.
"Finally, a classic country sound from a new artist! Joel Warren captures the true spirit of country with songs about life, love, pain and the whole country thang! Warren's smooth sound brings to light a new day for down home country,' says Dan Charon of KBOW in Butte, MT.
"Joel Warren is George Strait meets Chris LeDoux. His new country music is reminiscent of the old country sound that resonates with listeners of both generations," say Steve Bakken at KBVB in Fargo, ND.
'Joel has a voice that's as comforting and familiar as a glass of Gentleman Jack and this song has the same reaction to your listeners, SMOOTH. Give it an ear, followed by an add!' says Jim Quinton of WPPL-FM in Blue Ridge, GA.
Joel continues to climb the charts with a song that he never expected to become a true depiction of his life. 'I never thought I would be living the lyrics of my first single Leavin' Lubbock,' says Joel. 'But I am living proof that you can never say country music isn't about real life stories.'
Like the character in his song, Joel experienced the end of his marriage and now splits his time between Nashville and the 'Live Music Capitol of the World' Austin, Texas. To stay updated on Joel, visit www.joelwarrencountry.com.
