New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Atlantic Records) - Fueled By Ramen recording group VersaEmerge has announced the release of their much-anticipated full-length debut. "FIXED AT ZERO" arrives in stores and at all online retailers on June 22nd.
"FIXED AT ZERO" will first be available for pre-order at the VersaEmerge merchandise booth as the Florida-based band travels North America on its current tour. Fans will receive a special limited edition laminate, signed by each member of the band with a code for digitally downloading the album - as well as two bonus tracks - on June 22nd. The collectible laminate can then be used for future VersaEmerge offers, including merch booth discounts and a cut-the-line pass at the band's upcoming Vans Warped Tour signing sessions.
Online pre-orders begin on May 11th at both iTunes and the Fueled By Ramen Webstore, located at store.fueledbyramen.com. The Deluxe Digital edition appends four bonus tracks, including B-sides and exclusive acoustic renditions. In addition, the FBR Webstore will offer a range of pre-order bundles, with such elite extras as t-shirts and a limited edition calendar which will include the names and birthdates of the first 500 fans placing pre-orders. Already acclaimed as one of Alternative Press's "Bands You Need To Know," VersaEmerge have just embarked on an intensive live schedule, which will keep the trio busy all summer long. The dates - which pair the band with such like-minded acts as I See Stars, The Receiving End of Sirens, Let's Get It, and Eye Alaska - includes two performances at The Bamboozle 2010, slated for this weekend at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey (see below itinerary). The festivities kick off on Friday, April 30th at the Hoodwink Festival 2010, which will see VersaEmerge performing songs made famous by the one and only Britney Spears. On Saturday, May 1st, the band will be among the star-studded bill at the annual Bamboozle itself, headlined that night by VersaEmerge's Fueled By Ramen labelmates Paramore.
What's more, VersaEmerge will be spending their summer rocking the crowds on the Vans Warped Tour TwentyTen. The annual festival trek hits the road June 25th at Carson, California's Home Depot Center, with dates continuing through mid-August.
Since coming together in 2007, VersaEmerge have earned attention for their distinctive blend of powerful pop sensibility and inventive post-hardcore sonics. Fueled by lead guitarist/programmer Blake Harnage's relentless experimentalism and Kusterbeck's expressive and energetic vocals, the band has already unleashed a formidable body of work, including last year's self-titled Fueled By Ramen debut EP. Produced by James Paul Wisner - known for his work with Dashboard Confessional, Underoath, and The Academy Is... - the "VERSAEMERGE" EP was highlighted by "The Hider," which Kerrang! saluted as one of its "10 Songs You Should Hear Now."
An electrifying live act, VersaEmerge are already hardened road warriors, having toured alongside the likes of The Cab, We The Kings, Craig Owens, Ace & Enders, The Color Fred, and The Maine. The Port St. Lucie-based band - which spent late 2009 on the "Love Drunk Tour," a major North American trek co-headlined by Boys Like Girls and Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen's own Cobra Starship - has also blown away festival crowds at both 2009's Vans Warped Tour and England's annual Give It A Name in London and Manchester.
