New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Metal Postcard Records) - Hong Kong's powerhouse duo of Dave Wong (bass/vocals) and Paul MacLean (drums/mohawk) have been making waves in their Asian hometown; rising quickly from the 'ones to watch' to headlining and selling out clubs all over town as well as penetrating the ears of rock fans around the globe. In the summer of 2008, DP embarked on their first overseas campaign, travelling to the UK for a tour that included stops in Brighton, Oxford and London, as well as a main stage appearance at Truck Festival - a stage headlined later that day by The Lemonheads. In 2009, DP graced the stage with the likes of You Say Party! We Say Die! and NYC's Ratatat, as well as being handpicked to represent HK at the inaugural One Movement Festival in Perth, Australia. Recently DP have been seen rocking the stage with The Secret Machines and raising an all mighty musical hell down on 6th Street at the prestigious SXSW (South By South West) festival in March of this year. The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their full-length, self-titled debut release and will be launching their first music video for the fan-favourite track, Velvet Tiger, a video which was produced by Regurgitator's Quan Yeomans.
