Trombone Shorty Launches Into Summer Following Breakthrough Album 'Backatown'

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - With the release of 'Backatown,' Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews has truly arrived, taking his place as one of the most important musicians to rise out of New Orleans in a generation. Praise of his self-described brand of "Supafunkrock" has appeared everywhere from the NY Times and Rolling Stone to NPR and the front page of USA Today. Andrews has booked a relentless touring schedule throughout 2010 appearing at many of the country's major festivals and will make his late night television debut on David Letterman June 22.
