Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Bernie Grundman Mastering) - Christina Aguilera has completed her new album "Bionic" in sessions with mastering engineer Brian "Big Bass" Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering. Her fourth full-length studio album, "Bionic" is her first studio album since 2006's "Back to Basics."

Aguilera describes "Bionic" as a unique mix of many genres and styles of music: "I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements with subject matter ranging from playful to introspective. This allowed me to challenge myself by using my voice in ways I never had before. Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience."

In addition to her renowned vocal range, striking music videos and evolving iconic image, Aguilera explores themes in her music such as public scrutiny, her childhood, and female empowerment. Beyond her career in music, she has also dedicated much of her time as a philanthropist for charities, human rights and world issues.

Aguilera's work has earned her numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award. Rolling Stone magazine placed her on their list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time, ranking as the youngest and the only artist on the list under the age of thirty. She has become one of the most successful recording artists in recent years, selling more than 43 million records worldwide.

The first single from the new RCA/Sony album,"Not Myself Tonight," premiered on March 30. Two days before the June 8 release of "Bionic," Aguilera will perform at MTV's 19th annual Movie Awards Show, live in Los Angeles on June 6 at 9 PM ET.
