Washington, DC (Top40 Charts/ Godsendant Music) - Underground hip-hop artist Atari Blitzkrieg and producer Digital Fiend prepare to take listeners on an aural journey set in a cyberpunk future. The resulting product is an unlikely pairing of hip-hop mixed with electronic vibes that dabble in trip-hop and progressive rock. Subtle homages to anime, hacking and Max Headroom are woven throughout Atari Blitzkrieg's intricate lyricism and Digital Fiend's atmospheric production with an end result that is unlike anything fans might expect.

A project that hearkens back to the early days of hip-hop when it was simply an emcee and a producer, this album is no different with additional appearances coming by way of musicians contributing to the tracks on the album.

The album is available on iTunes, Amazon and all other digital stores.

About the artists

Digital Fiend: Born in Washington DC and raised in Fort Washington/Oxon Hill, Maryland, Digital Fiend a.k.a Mr Sound Smith, has been recording music as a drummer/percussionist since 1994 with friends from Real Earth productions which is a documentary film company out of Clinton, Maryland and now based in WVa, run by long time friends and music partners Raymond,Richard and Christian Schmitt. His career in music did not begin until meeting hip hop/experimental artist Atari Blitzkrieg in 2008, since 1994 The Digital Fiend had only done jams and recording out of fun and his love for the music and friends that came with it. Keeping the realistic thoughts on music and the business about it, Digital Fiend continues to keep up with blurring genres and not conforming to only one style of music. Since 2002 he has been experimenting with electronic equipment and adding live percussion in the mix.

Atari Blitzkrieg: Hailing from the DC metro area, Atari Blitzkrieg has been recording and producing since 1995 but due to real life situations didn't release his first single until 2007. Rokkonorrottenhell featured hip-hop icon Royce Da 5'9, Groovie Mann from the industrial band My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult and producer Krohme.[1]

Since then, he has released close to 200 songs, has unveiled 15 EP's, 3 full-length albums, numerous guest appearances, produced a few songs for other artists including Ryu of Styles of Beyond and Little Indian and has worked with some of the biggest names in underground hip-hop; Rapper Pooh, Louis Logic, Vast Aire, Roc C, LMNO, Breez Evahflowin, Motion Man and Wildchild to name a few. He continues to evolve his sound and blur genres while keeping his core principles; cyberpunk, technology, violence, corruption and post-apocalyptic dystopias intact.

Atari also devotes his time and his earnings to various charities and non-profit organizations, including Bright Beginnings Inc., a child and family development center that offers a bright start for homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and their families.
