New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mitch Schneider Organization) - wo-time Grammy-nominated electronic act THE CRYSTAL METHOD (TCM) has announced they will lead into summer of 2010 with new single 'Sine Language' featuring rappers LMFAO. The duo-Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland-have launched the party rocking anthem with a green screen video contest and DJ dates throughout the U.S. 'Sine Language' is the fourth single from TCM's current album DIVIDED BY NIGHT following 'Drown In the Now' featuring Matisyahu, 'Come Back Clean' with
Emily Haines (Metric) and 'Double Down Under.'
Beginning now through June 30, 2010, fans are encouraged to enter the contest, hosted by Dailymotion, to make the best video for the song. They will be provided with green screen footage of both The Crystal Method and LMFAO. Avid will be providing the following prizes to the contest winners which will be announced in mid-July: The Grand Prize winner will receive Avid Media Composer software and a music package from The Crystal Method including a signed art poster, signed vinyl and CD versions of Divided By Night and a TCM T-shirt; the second place winner will receive Mbox 2 Factory Pro Tools LE Recording System, a signed vinyl version of Divided By Night and a T-shirt from The Crystal Method; and five runners-up will receive a Pro Tools Recording Studio and a signed CD of Divided By Night. All winning videos will be presented through The Crystal Method's various websites and social media outlets. To support 'Sine Language' and create awareness around the contest, the duo will embark on a national DJ tour starting May 28 in Detroit. Thus far, club dates in St. Charles, Missouri, Aspen, Memphis, Asheville and Washington D.C. have been announced with more to follow.
They will also appear for the first time ever in their career at Bonnaroo where they are a featured part of the 'Lunar Stage' lineup. Here, world-renowned electronic music artists will be performing late into the night until the wee hours of the morning all weekend. There is also a stop at Bisco Inferno at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver on the tour.
