Culver City, CA (Top40 Charts/ Sony Pictures Television) - Madison Gate Records is set to release the original television soundtrack album to Sony Pictures Television's hit comedy series DROP DEAD DIVA. The album, which will feature music from both season one and two and include songs sung by several cast members, will be released today on both iTunes (www.apple.com/itunes/) and Amazon.com. Also available today is the DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, DROP DEAD DIVA: SEASON ONE, which contains exclusive bonus content including short films, deleted scenes and all-new behind-the-scenes featurettes. Lastly, the highly-anticipated second season debuts Sunday, June 6 at 9 PM ET/PT on Lifetime Television.

On the 14-track compilation, Margaret Cho performs an original song that she wrote entitled "Restraining Order;" Margaret and the series lead star Brooke Elliott sing a duet of "Would I Lie To You;" series co-star Ben Feldman sings a compelling rendition of "Baby, I Need Your Loving." There is also an original song from Confetti entitled "Begin Again" that features prominently, as a real clue, in episode six of season two. Other artists featured on the album include Becca Jones, Platinum Pied Pipers, Lil' Wendy, Madi Diaz, Dri, Katie Herzig, Malbec and Joshua Morrison.

"DROP DEAD DIVA has not only attracted fresh new musical acts to our show, but we also have a talented group of actors with amazing voices," said creator and executive producer Josh Berman. "I feel so fortunate to work with Scott Starrett, an ASCAP top TV composer of 2009, and Libby Umstead, TV's best music supervisor. I think our fans will love the CD as much as they enjoy the series. We're already in the works on volume 2!"

The album is produced by Josh Berman and Libby Umstead.

The complete track listing is as follows:

1. Brooke Elliott & Margaret Cho - "Would I Lie To You"
2. Becca Jones - "I'll Get Mine"
3. Platinum Pied Pipers - "On A Cloud"
4. Lil' Wendy - "Shake It"
5. Margaret Cho - "Restraining Order"
6. Madi Diaz - "Nothing At All"
7. Dri - "Don't Wait"
8. Katie Herzig - "Beautiful Inside"
9. Malbec - "Free"
10. Joshua Morrison - "Home"
11. Katie Herzig - "Wish You Well"
12. Confetti - "Begin Again" (pop version)
13. Ben Feldman - "Baby, I Need Your Loving"
14. Scott Starrett - "Suite From Drop Dead Diva"

Praised by critics as one of 2009's top new series, the one-hour, comedic drama tells the story of a shallow wannabe model who dies in a sudden accident only to find her soul resurfacing in the body of a brilliant, plus-size and recently deceased attorney, Jane. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, DROP DEAD DIVA features Brooke Elliott (Wicked, Taboo), Margaret Cho (Ghost Whisperer, Notorious C.H.O.), Jackson Hurst (The Tree of Life), Kate Levering (Cashmere Mafia), April Bowlby (Two and a Half Men), Josh Stamberg (Lie to Me) and Ben Feldman (The Perfect Man). The second season of DROP DEAD DIVA will feature 13 new episodes.

Currently in production in Atlanta, DROP DEAD DIVA's season two opener will feature entertainer Paula Abdul (American Idol) reprising her role as "Judge Paula Abdul," a figment of Jane's subconscious. Devon Gummersall (My So-Called Life) and David Denman (The Office) return as guest stars this season. The premiere episode will also feature a musical dream sequence, choreographed by So You Think You Can Dance's Keith "Tyce" Diorio.

Josh Berman (Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) is creator and executive producer. Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Academy Award-winning Chicago, Hairspray, Lifetime's Living Proof) of Storyline Entertainment are executive producers. Alex Taub (Eli Stone) also returns as executive producer. DROP DEAD DIVA is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
