Seattle, WA (Top40 Charts/ Bumbershoot: Seattle's Music & Arts Festival) - The 40th Annual Bumbershoot: Seattle's Music & Arts Festival, taking place September 4-6 at Seattle Center, announces the 2010 music lineup. New this year, the Mainstage will feature one show per day with three headlining performers.

Saturday, Bumbershoot kicks off the 40th Festival with legendary American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. A musical icon whose influence spans five decades, Dylan remains one of the most prolific and influential musicians of our time. Rounding out the opening night of the Festival is the distinctive talent of Neko Case and indie folk rock sensations The Decemberists. Sunday night's lineup showcases a triple bill of high-energy performances from alt-rock superstars Weezer, Hole and Rise Against. Monday night closes the Festival with Grammy Award-winning artist Mary J. Blige whose unique mix of soul, hip-hop and R&B continues to influence recording artists across the globe. Rap sensation J. Cole, the first artist to be signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation, will take the stage Monday night with another very special guest to be announced in the coming weeks.

'Bumbershoot has a strong history of showcasing emerging talent alongside veteran superstars. This year for our 40th Festival, we're excited to have artists that span more than four decades of phenomenal music,' stated Chris Porter, Programming Director for One Reel's Festival Division. 'With this roster of talent, we're truly offering a music lineup that will engage and entertain people of all ages and interests.'

Another change to Bumbershoot this year is the Bumbershoot Standard Ticket that, for the first time, now includes guaranteed access to the Mainstage performances. This eliminates the previous process of waiting in line upon arrival at the Festival for a separate pass. Bumbershoot Standard Tickets are available in a limited quantity, so patrons expecting to see Mainstage performers are encouraged to purchase Standard Tickets early to ensure their spot in Memorial Stadium.

Bumbershoot also introduces a brand new ticket option, the Bumbershoot Economy Ticket, which grants the ticketholder access to everything at Bumbershoot except the Mainstage performances in Memorial Stadium. The Bumbershoot Economy Ticket is for those who prefer the programming found outside Memorial Stadium and throughout the grounds.
