Scott Ian will be the host of UB.com's third freeroll in the UB.com Pro Freeroll Challenge. The June 30th free online poker tournament will feature a $2,000 prize pool plus a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join Scott Ian and Anthrax across the pond for a weekend of metal and mayhem.
The winner of the freeroll, titled Scott Ian - Send Me To Sonisphere, will head to London, England for the Sonisphere Festival. The package includes a flight for two to London, accommodations for two, Sonisphere Festival tickets for two, and backstage passes for the event.
This is the third time in five months that a Team UB pro has given a unique experience through an online poker freeroll. Team UB pros are hosting freerolls at UB.com throughout 2010 as part of a yearlong online poker popularity contest. Every other month, one Team UB pro will host a free online poker tournament that features a $2,000 prize pool plus a lifestyle component decided by the freeroll host.
In April, Tiffany Michelle seduced poker players by offering to date the winner for an entire weekend in Hollywood. In February, Joe Sebok launched the Pro Freeroll Challenge by giving away a skydiving experience in the Nevada desert.
At the end of the year, the host who attracts the largest number of online poker players to his or her tournament will win the UB.com Pro Freeroll Challenge. The winning Team UB Pro will receive $2,500 from UB for a night on the town in Vegas to spend any way they choose. The Team UB pro who attracts the lowest number of players will be forced to play concierge, doing anything the winner asks to facilitate the night on the town.
