Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ MT Press) - The royal rock outfit, King Washington, will be holding court at Troubadour on Saturday, June 26th.

The group is making a regal public appearance, while they are hard at work writing their sophomore album, The Gears, due out in January of next year. Sampling from soul, folk, and rock, the LA based band has developed a sophisticated sound worthy of their subjects' praise. One would be wise to check out these kings as they are looking to expand their reign over the LA music scene.

King Washington's sound is fueled by the diverse experiences and influences each band member brings to the writing process. From a war veteran to the son of accomplished songwriter Tom Kelly, this group of troubadours has a knack to write beautifully complex melodies that remain easily accessible. These distinctive elements create an amazing atmosphere at their live performances.

The band members including, rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist Tyson Kelly, lead guitarist George Krikes, bassist Dylan Cronin and drummer Kyle Turek, are well versed in many instruments opening the doors to creative improvisation on stage. Watching King Washington perform live is a unique experience that has something to offer all discerning listeners.

King Washington will take the stage at Troubadour at 11:30 PM. The Troubadour is located at 9081 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood CA.
