New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - On June 11, Little Steven kicks off summer festival season by celebrating the legacy of the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival on his nationally syndicated show Little Steven's Underground Garage.

Van Zandt, who calls it "the coolest event ever in the history of the universe," will spin tracks by artists that played there, such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Byrds, The Jefferson Airplane, Otis Redding, and more. The show will also feature Little Steven's new favorite songs by The Grip Weeds, Alejandro Escovedo, Gaslight Anthem, and Nick Curran and the Lowlifes.
This week's "coolest song in the world" honor goes to Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes' "Harder Than It Looks."
