Harkening back to her days as an unexpected YouTube sensation, Theresa Andersson recently released the first clip from her DVD 'Theresa Andersson: Live at Le Petit.' After posting her clip of 'Oh Mary' on her YouTube channel, the video went viral, getting picked up as a YouTube Music Tuesday Feature, and racking up over half-a-million views in 3 days. Theresa has now released several more clips, including 'On Your Way Down,' featuring the legendary Allen Tousaint on piano. Theresa is also offering a 'pay per view' stream of the entire DVD on Youtube for only $.99. And fans can still purchase their own copy of the DVD at TheresaAndersson.com.

Recorded on February 28, 2010 at The Le Petit Theatre in New Orleans and directed by Bridget Palardy (Be Your Own Pet, The Plasticines, Nylon TV), the DVD features music from Hummingbird, Go!, along with her own renditions of songs like the spiritual 'Oh Mary', Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young's 'Find the Cost of Freedom,' and a special duet with Allen Toussaint on 'On Your Way Down.' The DVD also includes an interview with Theresa as she explores her adopted home of New Orleans, where she explains how she ended up moving to the city twenty years ago, the origin of her 'one-woman band,' and a tributes to her musical influences.

Raised in Sweden but based in New Orleans, Theresa Andersson has spent her career mining the sonic roots of both homes, creating lush, orchestral pop that has piqued the interest of fans and critics around the globe. After the release of Theresa's latest album Hummingbird, GO!, the Los Angeles Times heralded her as an 'Artist to Watch', with Ann Powers comparing her to Feist and Lykke Li. She has appeared on 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien,' and 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,' where she showed off her impressive live show, an ambitious one-woman set aided by a series of loop pedals. And more recently, Theresa collaborated with Aaron Neville and Carlo Nuccio for 'Glory Bound,' Nuccio's sequel to his famous New Orleans Saints' anthem. 'Who Dat.'
