CHICAGO, Ill. (Limp Bizkit Fans Website) - Limp Bizkit turned off a whole lot of Summer Sanitarium audience members this past July but 172 of them are now actually trying to do something about it. During the Chicago stop of the tour, which included Metallica, Linkin Park and The Deftones, Limp Bizkit was booed off the stage after only 17 minutes. Crowd members say frontman Fred Durst bombarded them with "disgusting homophobic and anti-gay statements" and they are suing for breach-of-contract, asking for a refund for one third of their ticket price. If the judge rules in favour of the 172 concertgoers, all 40 000 people who attended the Summer Sanitarium Chicago stop could receive the $25 payment asked for in the suit.
