NEW YORK (Uncle Kraker Official newsletter) - Uncle Kracker's hit single "Drift Away" featuring Dobie Gray has held the No 1 spot on the Adult Contemporary Mainstream Radio Chart for a record breaking 22 weeks, edging out Celine Dion's record of 21 weeks at No 1 on the chart for her song "A New Day Has Come."

"Drift Away" is Uncle Kracker's second radio hit from his sophomore album No Stranger To Shame. The album's first single "In A Little While" climbed to No 4 on the Hot AC chart. Uncle Kracker's third single "Memphis Soul Song" is already getting considerable radio airplay at Hot AC.

The Detroit native is currently on tour in support of his new album, and he will be performing "Memphis Soul Song" on an upcoming episode of the Sharon Osbourne Show.
