Emeryville, CA (TOP40 Charts/ Penton Media, Inc.) -- Mix magazine announced that their flagship professional audio production event, Mix Nashville, will be held September 13-14 at the newly reopened Soundcheck Nashville. This signature gathering offers two full days of panels on the business and applications of studio and live production and features top engineers, producers and music industry professionals from the Nashville community.

This year's programming will showcase everything from Recording Guitar to Selling Your Music Online in the Mix Nashville expert panel series. This year's panelists include Grammy-winning engineer Vance Powell, Grammy-winning mastering engineer Joe Palmaccio, engineers Steve Marcantonio, Lou Bradley, Grammy-winning engineer Chuck Ainlay and more.

Grammy-winning engineer producer/engineer Richard Dodd and acclaimed producer/engineer Justin Niebank will be featured in a rare, conversational-style keynote address. Nathan Chapman, Grammy-winning producer of Taylor Swift's Fearless will be featured on the popular Anatomy Of A Hit panel. Post-panel Q&As will give attendees the unique opportunity to connect with these and other celebrated names in the music industry.

The event marks one of first public events to be held at the recently reopened rehearsal facility, Soundcheck Nashville, which sustained severe damage in the wake of the devastating flood in spring of this year. "There was never any question we were coming back to Soundcheck," says Mix magazine editor Tom Kenny. "What Ben Jumper and his team have done in the past three months rebuilding from the epicenter of a 1000-year flood is nothing short of remarkable. There are new Meyer systems in every room, new Avid Pro Tools rigs and a complete backline. Peavey, Fender, DiGiCo, Shure and all the other tenants are also back. We're excited to be part of the reopening of Soundcheck Nashville, and this will be the first look for a lot of people in the local recording and pro audio community."

Admission to Mix Nashville is free to all residents of the greater Nashville/Middle Tennessee region. Non-Nashville residents can purchase $39 Earlybird tickets up until the day of the show. Tickets day of show are $79. All registrants, free and paid, must pre-register online at https://nashville.mixonline.com/

In addition to the expert panels, manufacturer partners will outfit the Soundcheck facility and host a series of master classes and hands-on product demos. This year's partners include Steinberg, Meyer Sound, Yamaha Commercial Audio, GC Pro, Focusrite, Korg, Sony Pro Audio, Harrison Consoles, Dangerous Music/Rupert Neve Designs, Focal, Nugen Audio and Soundtoys.

This year's association partners include CMA (The Country Music Association), The Recording Academy/P&E Wing, NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association), SPARS (Society Of Professional Audio Recording Services), The Nashville Muse and Music Starts Here.
