NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - Having taken place the weekend of July 2nd - 4th in Helsinki, Finland, Megadeth were one of the featured artists marking this year's Tuska Open Air festival. While on location - and on Independence Day no less - SkullsNBones.com caught up with Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson backstage to talk all about the show, their summer of festivals with the other 3 members of the Big Four and much more. Watch it right here.

In other Megadeth news, the band has just announced that they will headline six festival shows in New Zealand and Australia this December for the "No Sleep Til" tour, a touring festival that will deliver a mix of the best international and local acts from the legendary to the up-and-comers. Other confirmed acts on the tour include, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys, 3 Inches Of Blood, Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Katatonia, GWAR, and more. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, September 9. For more information, go right here.

Megadeth are currently out on leg 1 of the American Carnage tour featuring fellow thrash legends Slayer and Testament. Leg 2 of the tour starts in late September and will feature Slayer and Anthrax.
