NEW YORK (Marilyn Manson Fans Website) - Kansas City police were called to control a crowd Thursday night after a Marilyn Manson concert was forced to end early. The shock-rocker called it quits after fans twice pushed down a barrier separating them from the stage at the Kansas City International Raceway. Then, according to police, between 2,000 and 3,000 people began rioting. When security couldn't control the mob, an estimated 130 officers responded to the scene in full riot gear. Apparently there were only a few minor injuries. "Even though the show was stopped twice for safety reasons, we wanted nothing more than to continue to play," Manson said in a statement. "Although we were not allowed to finish the show, we understand that safety needs to come first."
