 NEW YORK ('Break the cycle' press release) - Rapper Missy Elliott is lending her name and her face to an organization in the U.S. called Break the Cycle - a charity organization that works with young people to end domestic violence. The organization is about to undergo a campaign with hopes of raising $5 million to increase awareness of the issue with the help of Missy. Missy will actually be including information about the organization in the cover of her upcoming album, "This Is Not a Test" due at the end of this month. "I chose Break the Cycle as my charity and am proud to lead the fundraising campaign because I know that together, we can make a difference," Missy said in a statement.
