DBMCa's smaller size breaks down the boundaries between up-and-coming artists, industry veterans, and everyone in between. The more intimate setting creates a friendly environment for everyone to learn about the latest industry trends, models of business, and gain different perspectives.

Registration for DBMC includes full access to panels, mentoring sessions, clinics, demo listening sessions, the trade show exhibit, a conference directory, a compilation CD and goodie bag, and four separate VIP parties where up and coming artists and industry experts co-mingle over free food and drink at one of several different outdoor beach clubs. Registration can be done phone, fax, mail, or through DBMCa's website. Walk-up registration is also available. Registration is just $50.

Dewey Beach, Del., sits on a narrow peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and Rehoboth Bay. The result is a casual, laid-back vibe mirroring a beach vacation. All performance venues are within a few blocks walking distance of the main conference area. No cabs, no hassle, no venues that are hopelessly disconnected from the center of activity. That center of activity, The Rusty Rudder, possesses an intimate and friendly atmosphere. Registrants interact with panelists, speakers, exhibitors, musicians, and professionals from all aspects of the music industry without any pretension.
