New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Vibe Records) - Baltimore rap dynamo Rye Rye will hit the road with M.I.A. on September 21st as a very special guest on M.I.A.'s fall U.S. tour. The 19-year-old with the rapid-fire flow will give fans a taste of what's to come on her eagerly awaited debut album, Go! Pop! Bang!, which will be released by M.I.A.'s Interscope Records imprint N.E.E.T. Records in early 2011.

M.I.A. discovered Rye Rye after hearing her rap on DJ Blaqstarr's 2006 club hit "Shake It Down To the Ground." She brought the teenager out on the road with her and collaborated with Rye Rye on her first single "Bang," which Rolling Stone called "gloriously showoffy." The New York Times has called Rye Rye's music "eminently danceable, with up-tempo break beats, electronic flourishes, and double-Dutch-like rhymes" while V magazine has called it "a particular mix of old-school rap, Baltimore club beats, and globally informed dance rhythms that is the next step in the musical revolution." Go! Pop! Bang! features production by Diplo, Blaqstarr, Count and Sinden, and M.I.A among others.

Rye Rye has recently been featured in Nylon, Paper, and New York Magazine. She performed at the South-by-Southwest Music Conference in Austin last March and at the Winter Music Conference in Miami before opening for The Gossip in April.

Check out what the press has already said about Go! Pop! Bang!:

"... the hip-hop album most likely to set the club on fire." - Rolling Stone

"... will take over car stereos one impossibly ear-catching kinetic party jam at a time" - Paper

"The female rapper is infectious with her active album spun with lyrical bombs and spine thumping beats" - MF Magazine.
