LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - 'Lizzie McGuire' star Hilary Duff has inked a comedy pilot deal with US TV network CBS. The Hollywood Reporter says that the show will be developed for the 2004-05 season and will most likely be a domestic comedy like 'Family Ties'. While the deal does not guarantee the pilot will be made, sources told the Hollywood Reporter that CBS would pay a substantial penalty if it wasn't. Duff will next be seen on european cinema screens in the comedy 'Cheaper by the Dozen'; it is due to open in February 2004.
