Streator, IL (Top40 Charts/ All For One Song Official Website) - The name Kevin Chalfant has been synonymous with classic rock royalty for the past three decades and counting, starting with his 1980s beginnings in Billboard charting sensations 707 to the 1990s super group The Storm (including members of Journey and Santana) to the 2000s spent in a successful solo career backed by the band Two Fires. These days, the BMI Award winning songwriter (who's also written for Cher) is channeling his creative efforts to several rock solid causes, which in the case of his latest single 'All For One,' turns towards the topic of patriotism. 'The song is a tribute to the foundation that our great country was built on and to remind people of the patriotic principles that continue to shape our world,' he explains of the power ballad (which was co-written by Chuck Giacinto) that's quickly being considered the 'God Bless the U.S.A.' for the current generation. 'It's intended to be a moving anthem with an epic musical tone that strives to encourage and inspire listeners, while also expressing thankfulness for all wonderful opportunities America offers its people.' Though the track is currently available at iTunes and will appear on Kevin Chalfant's Two Fires CD 'Burning Bright' (releasing October 5 on Frontiers Records), it earned a rapturous response during its debut performance at Right Nation 2010 (just outside of Chicago at the Sears Centre Arena, which has also hosted recent performances by the Eagles, Billy Joel, The Who and Elton John). The event was led by political commentator Glenn Beck, who Chalfant preceded with the story behind the song, followed by an inspiring performance in front of over 6,000 attendees. After Chalfant introduced Beck (who unfurled an hour long motivational speech), he closed the evening with a vibrant rendition of 'God Bless America,' bringing the evening and its patriotic premise full circle.
