New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - This year has been a remarkable one for GRAMMY winner Angelique Kidjo. She released the sparkling new album 'OYO' featuring John Legend and U2's Bono to great acclaim, shared the stage with Shakira and Alicia Keys during the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, toured internationally, received an appointment from the African Union and much more.

This November Kidjo will headline a spectacular performance event at Carnegie Hall as part of its "Around the Globe" concert series. Kidjo will present "The Sound of the Drum," a tribute to the African roots of the music of the Americas.
