New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ IFF China) - Nigel Lythgoe, Executive Producer of "American Idol" from 2002 to 2007 and again in 2010 and Co-Creator and Executive Producer of "So You Think You Can Dance" from 2005 to present, will deliver the Keynote address at the first International Formats Forum held in Beijing, China on November 11 and 12, 2010.

Nigel will also be awarded the first IFFY Award Grand prize for Excellence in Worldwide Formats and will personally greet on stage the winner of the China Formats Competition.

"It is a great honor for me to be directly involved in the raising of the Formats Industry in China", said Nigel Lythgoe. "I believe American Idol can not only set a good example of success in Formats audiences but also inspire the young Chinese creators to reach for the highest standards in creating new Formats in the years to come thanks to IFF China."

Added Rangoon Yang, Vice President of IFF China: "It's a great honor for all of us at IFF China to welcome Nigel Lythgoe to Beijing and provide all our Chinese and International attendees the opportunity to listen and learn from a Master of Formats."

Georges Leclere, Senior Vice President International concluded: "Nigel Lythgoe, after a great performance in Banff last June, thanks to IFF China is now coming to help Chinese Formats lovers select the best of best.
