MUNICH, GERMANY (Top40 Charts/ Diametral Records) - Diametral Records (DR) is a new tiny label based in Germany (Munich/Frankfurt) and was founded by Matthias Falkenstein and Oliver Roos in the beginning of 2010. The aim of DR is to support young and interesting artists by giving them a platform for presenting theire own interpretation of electronic music. In fact of this DR is not related to a special genre, instead there are only some sound-guidelines like deep, dubby, groovin and for sure the need of some detroit based elements from Chill Out to Techno.

The first releases of the sublabel Diametral Express are already in most peoples ears ... this could seem a little bit strange that sub-releases are published before the first main release, but there was a good reason for the heads to spent so much time on the first DR release ... and the result of waiting is a really fine mini-compilation with 11 really different tracks reflecting on the lables philosophie and whole spectrum, thats why it is called 'FULL SPECTRUM'

The start up comes from the Berlin based producers 'Bekeschus' , who already gained some reputation with theire releases on Eintakt Records. 'Delta Stream' is a really oldschool techno-track with pumping kickdrums and evolving pads in a good old basic channel style, supported with a really deep remix by Mathias Meindl. The second step needs a distance of about '1500mm' and was written by Matthias Springer in some deep techhouse-lines and epic soundscapes including a remix by the Lucidflow-Head 'Nadja Lind' and one remix by the ForceTracks Gladiator 'Igor Vlasov' from Russia.

Define minimal techno in one word ... Diametral would say 'Bitterstrom' ... the munich based project brings you 'Hyler' , deep, dry, only some sounds putted in the right way on the right time creating a really dark atmosphere. GL-Audio Chief and mastering-mastermind 'Robert Templa' uses a really dark atmosphere too in his track 'Elektron' , a moving electro-tech track with very complex and versatile soundscapes. 'Allan Blomquist' the artist formally known as 'Ghostkiller' comes from Sweden with a really strange sound... what is this? Deep kicks and a pregnant bassline which will never leave your ears, some dub, some 303 moving up and down and a spooky synth-lead moves your ass about ten minutes.

The labelhead duo 'Springer&Roos' give theire debut on this release in general.'the Vault' is a classic techhouse mover , with frisky percussions, vocal snippets and a lot of bleeps and blobs running through your head and pumping out your sweat. 'Henning Richter' and 'Aksutique' take in the last but not least, chilling part of this release. The MusikJustiz labelhead brings you a really hypnotic chillhouse-bomb with his track 'One Day' including some highend glaced pianochords. Aksutique put this track in a wide and epic downbeat-disguise for some flying moments!

In the end a release that puts something in the bag for everyone ... just take it!
