
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Incite Entertainment) - Incite Entertainment in association with Titus Productions is announcing a new teen dance contest and concert for the whole family, which will be benefiting Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness. The Cali Dance Festival will be happening this fall at the famed Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.
T-Boz, from the legendary R&B group, TLC, and an active ally in the fight against Sickle cell anemia, is a Host and part of the distinguished panel of judges who will determine the Cali Dance Fest finalist. There will also be performances from the New Boyz, performing their hit single 'Tie Me Down and Break My Bank' and YG, performing 'Toot It and Boot It.'�
A portion of all ticket sales will benefit The Cayenne Wellness Center for Sickle Cell Anemia Awareness (www.cayennewellness.org). More than 20,000 fans are expected to be in attendance.
Cayenne Wellness Center and Children's Foundation offers outstanding outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents and adults; state-of-the-art nutritional programs for overweight youth and adults, those who suffer from acute and chronic illnesses such as diabetes and sickle cell disease, and early nutrition programs for pregnant women and mothers of newborn children.
The Cali Dance Festival will be held on November 13, 2010. The benefit will be an all-day festival with participating vendors, giveaways from corporate sponsors and two stages where teens can compete in a dance contest in front of friends and family, build their self-esteem and earn the chance to be a part of the top 3 finalist that will share the grand prize of $10,000. The winners of the contest will be a part of the final chapter in the 'Cocky Wit It' documentary film that is currently in production. 'Cocky Wit It,' is a new documentary film that celebrates 'Jerkin',' and other popular dance phenomenon to hit the country. The movement is in grand contrast to the gangsta movement that's been part of the hip hop scene for so long; This new dance culture are born in the heart of youthful creativity and passion.
