Global Gnominations: Vote Now For The International Golden Gnome Awards!

Amsterdam, Netherlands (Top40 Charts/ Gnome Awards) - Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), DJ Fanclub & Paradiso proudly present the first edition of the 'International Golden Gnome Awards', taking place on the official opening night of the ADE on October 20th.

Excitement mounts as worldwide voting frenzy begins.
The on-line polling station is now open for votes from all over the world in a wide assortment of categories including Gnominations for "Favourite International DJ", "Best International Festival", Most Promising New Dutch Talent and lots more.

Gnome sweet gnome
Having started life in 1995 as a prank, with the intention of bringing back humour into the increasingly serious and commercial club scene in Amsterdam, the Gnomes have climbed out from under their toadstools and grown into the most important awards ceremony in the Dutch party calender. Not only have they brought a smile onto the face of many a top DJ but the actual process of winning a little golden man has also become a fiercely fought battle.

The self-proclaimed "Unbelievably Unofficial Nightlife Oscars" have attracted an impressive group of fans from all over the globe, with proud owners including Armin van Buuren (2008), Ricardo Villalobos (2005), Audio Bullys (2003), Underworld (2002) en David Guetta (2001).

Gnominations
This year's potentially glorious winners include Dr. Lektroluv, Shinedoe & Sander Kleinenberg for "Best Dressed DJ", Richie Hawtin, Dave Clarke & Fedde Le Grand as "Favourite International DJ", Studio 80, Berghain & Fabric for "Best Club Soundsystem" and everyone's curious to know if Pedro Winter, Pete Tong of John Digweed will dare take to the stage to pick up their ignominious prize for "Worst Haircut" or if Carl Craig, Ida Egberg or Don Diablo will live up to their reputation as "Most Sexy DJ".
