LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Sidecho Records) - British LA-based artist KAV released his debut solo EP "Blaggers N Liars" in April 2008 on buzz London imprint This
Feeling Records to rave reviews from the UK press. With music injected by a knowing but raw rock n' roll swagger, KAV has been compared to
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club,
Primal Scream and Them Crooked Vultures. The former Happy Mondays guitarist temporarily relocated to LA the past year for a West Coast Tour with DATAROCK, several gigs with Eastern Conference Champions and numerous Hollywood showcase performances.
On Nov 2, 2010, KAV releases "THE MR NICE EP - featuring Howard Marks" through a North American distribution deal with Sidecho Records. The EP was released last week in the UK in conjunction with the biopic film MR NICE starring Rhys Ifans & Chloe Sevigny, based on Howard's (Mr. Nice) internationally bestselling autobiography. "KAV seems to have been surviving on a staple diet of barbiturates and Sleazy, Sunset Strip Rock 'n' Roll.... The result of meeting satan at the crossroads every month is a low-slung, blues -indebted rock 'n' roll outing seeped in whisky-soaked saloon brawls and murder ballad gusto"

"KAV is one of those one in a million artists that just exudes talent...imagine if Bob Dylan was young in modern times and he had an addiction to sleaze and you'd be half way to understanding Kav's sound... Simple, perfectly executed sleazy rock with hidden depths and a backpack full of attitude. Sick"
