Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ The Bloody Beetroots DeathCrew 77) - On the eve of The Bloody Beetroots' first extended North American tour as The Bloody Beetroots DeathCrew 77, Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo has released his remix of The Chemical Brothers' 'Dissolve' (feel free to post and share). Bob has turned The Chemical Brothers' shimmering, psychedelic epic into a grinding club-ready track with explosive buildups and orchestral explosions. For the first time, Italian producer and polymath Sir Bobwill be joined for the extended tour by a full band: The Bloody Beetroots DeathCrew 77. Stepping out from behind the mixers, Rifo now plays guitar, bass, and synths and is joined on stage by Tommy Tea on controllers and the Beetroots' newest member Edward Grinch on drums.

The new live setup is a dramatic reinterpretation of the Beetroots' music and the ultimate marriage of the band's love of grinding electronic melodies, aggressive hardcore punk, and elaborate compositions. Check out the band Live at La Cigale as well as their new video for 'Domino' for a sample of The Bloody Beetroots DeathCrew 77.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2007, Bob Rifo has brought a sense of danger to dance floors across the globe. From 'Butter' to 'Cornelius' to the Steve Aoki assisted 'Warp 1.9,' The Bloody Beetroots' early singles dominated clubs across the globe, paving the way for the group's debut full-length Romborama. Released in August 2009 on Dim Mak, the record blended lines between house, techno, hip-hop, hardcore punk, and even at times orchestral compositions (after all, Rifo spent years studying composers like Chopin, Beethoven, and Debussy). Romborama was a star-studded affair that featured guest appearances from everyone from Justin Pearson (The Locust, All Leather) and Vicarious Bliss to The Cool Kids and J*DaVeY. The record was followed by the Spares of Romborama Series, which included Xmas Vendetta and The Domino EP. Around this time, Bob recruited Tommy Tea to help him out on the road, and the DJ duo toured the world with one of the most raucous and energetic live shows out there. In between touring, releasing two EPs, and dropping a full length album, Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo managed to collaborate with Steve Aoki to rework The Refused's legendary track, 'New Noise.'

And now with the formation of the The Bloody Beetroots DeathCrew 77, the project is evolving once again. In many ways, Bob is returning to his punk roots.

Be sure to check out the remix of The Chemical Brothers' 'Dissolve', available for free download now.

Dim Mak started in 1996 as a whim and became a lifestyle. Launching with a 7" from obscure SoCal hardcore ensemble Stickfigurecarousel, Dim Mak's roster grew to include bands outside of hardcore and punk to garage rock and roll, disco punk, new wave, whatever it is that is explosive. The roster is a large and expanding one. There is no particular genre of music they corner other than what they know feels right. The point being is to just to release what they think is good regardless of style, which they have done again and again over the past 13 years.
